If you’ve looked at different spec sheets, you might have gotten a little overwhelmed trying to sort out all the different capacities mentioned in the list. For our purposes, the most important bit of information to know is the Chevy truck towing capacity. On Chevy’s website, this will be listed under “Capabilities,” “Trailering & Payload,” then “Max Conventional Trailering (in lbs.).” This is different from the payload capacity in that payload is what you can actually carry in your truck as opposed to what you can drag behind you with your hitch.
